Thanjk you.

Him and Lucas were fantastic. And that is my point Matt 'he cannot defend' so Lucas covering for him was perfect.
Adam has no positional sense, can't tackle and is slow, but he has a lovely left foot, good passing range and high production level. Aqua is a passenger and is always on the outskirts of games IMO.
But you could have stuck anyone next to Lucas for that. Quite frankly Aquilani is far better for that because he has game intelligence that Adam simply doesn't have.
Adam's presence didn't help our attacking in open play.
Like i said play to his strengths closer to opposition goal and we will benefit from this lad.
Problem with Adam is he's not really offensive enough to play high enough up the park that he doesn't have to tackle. Or in his case, try to tackle. I just can't see a role for him in a 4-3-3... or a 4-4-2 for that matter.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

As for Aqua he is a passenger, too tame and weak to control any CM in the premier league, and is always on the outskirts of games IMO. Two very different players
Run Lucas into the ground so that Adam can get the odd goal and odd assist? You're bonkers.

IMO played as a squaddie/fill in role in teh Gerrard position he would be very productive.
E.g. Lucas---Allen

That makes no sense, i've already said that i don't think he should be playing as a deep lying CM. Just pointing out that the two were working well together before the Lucas injury.
