IMO played as a squaddie/fill in role in teh Gerrard position he would be very productive.

Charlie Adam is ****e in the defensive phase. I don't care how many assists he adds to the team, a central midfielder needs to have an all round game otherwise defensively you are exposed. That's why we are looking at Allen.

That makes no sense, i've already said that i don't think he should be playing as a deep lying CM. Just pointing out that the two were working well together before the Lucas injury.

I disagree mate, as a squad player i'd have no problems whatsoever with Adam, if he is used properly.
