I think this is generally where Sterling needs more experience and a bit of growth, he pretty much has not been in this game at all.

Great half Shelvey and Joe Cole looked lively. You get the feeling Sterling would have done alright if he hadn't been so isolated. Shelvey. He's really coming on.

Shelvey gets better with every game, no reason to loan him out, he is ready for the first team. I would prefer to see Shelvey in the team rather than Henderson, Adam or Spearing.
