Cisse was another. He was around when Youtube first came to my attention. I remember his compilation being emailed around. He looked like an absolute world beater from that clip. I thought he was going to be a superstar for us
Me too.
But I think I only got excited once it was clear we were in for him. So it was a case of confirmation bias really.
I learned my lesson and ever since have tried my best not to get excited or suicidal about us signing anyone.*
