This is actually a pretty damn good squad, put a decent style/way of playing or system and it could do good things.

Without meaning to sound too negative, that's a pretty ****ty squad really. Obviously there are some standout names, but the rest is poor.

I disagree, the reason we were so **** last year was we had no system in place nor a plan B if plan A failed, hopefully BR will provide those.

With Chelsea (and seemingly Tottenham) strengthening I think we are further away than ever.

We have very little chance of finishing ahead of Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea this year.

Tottenham look stronger than us on paper now (although a touch weak up front), Arsenal without RVP will be interesting, but you'd still have to back them to finish ahead of us.

With our squad now 6th is what I would expect. Any higher is overachieving.

I think the way to judge it would be who would the top teams in the champions league come after to improve their squad.

Out of all that I only really think we'd get the proper bids for Suarez and Reina, and possibly Lucas.
