If it makes you feel better, I agree with much of what you wrote.
But then I'd pretty much already written it all, only more succinctly.

I hear what you are saying but of those they either blow hot or cold and don't maintain consistency or in Giggs and Ginger nuts, both are to old to rebuild our squad. Our squad really has too many substandard players in it sadly. We need to start removing players like Adam, Spearing and Downing and replacing them with real quality.Comment

Its a midtable squad and needs some serious investment.
We're getting weaker, and I'm worried that the Dalglish squandered investment of last year has caused a panic amongst the owners, which will make them reluctant to indulge any manager to the same extent, especially when they know next to **** all and have been ridiculously badly advised by Damien ****ing Comolli, amongst others.
Look at who they've had to deal with since they came in... no wonder they're cautious with the cash now.Comment
