Borini is a good buy as he can play anywhere across the front three and is of an age where he will improve.

He's fast and hard working, but not electric. Someone like Walcott would be a great addition, if only because it would force teams to sit back more and give us the space for the more creative players to work their magic.

Of course, not many teams will be as bold as the Spurs managed AVB, who actively encourages a high line. But we still need pace for when do encounter situations like that.

That said, it needn't be pace on the wings. Arsenal at there very best played with clever, creative players like Ljunberg, Pires and Bergkamp. But their main threat was Thierry Henry and his pace forced opponents to defend deep and this then allowed the creative players to work their magic.

We're crying out for pace and creativity for wide areas, we have been for a while. If you look at our squad that is the one area we seriously lack quality.

I'm not sure what formation we are going with but I think we need at least one such player.
