    See what I mean.

Bender would have just used the icon.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Anyway, yes. I think we'll beat West Brom. 2-0 to start the season off nicely.
I also have a feeling we'll keep a clean sheet, but I'm going for a 0-1 with Glen Johnson netting the winner

If we manage to bring one of the two players we are being linked with at the moment before kick off it will be a real boost to an already very positive pre season ...

Either way we can go into this game bullish .... its going to be tough .. but thats a given .. we need to make other teams fear us once more that should be our number 1 priority ... do that and everything else will naturally fall into place .

Its a chicken and egg situation ... there will never be a better time to push the boat out and have the bollix to play football in a certain way

Thats going a bit overboard! But it would be nice to start off with a win. There will be setbacks though, against good teams and woeful ones, just hope we learn to recover from them better than last season, losing a game or drawing at home to **** isnt the end of the world. Our attitude after the Arsenal loss was disgraceful.

OK so maybe I was being a bit OTT but we need to start showing we are a team who can take care of the teams who we should expect to be beating. If there is any way of us challenging for top 4 on a consistent basis then we need to start doing that.

The Arsenal draw two years ago?

Back to 08/09 since we started with a win.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                    Why, what was the reaction?

Personally I was relieved that we could stop pretending about top 4 although I was hoping that it would have meant more game time for the kids.

The first day of the footie season (proper) is always a mouthwatering time and I'm more confident of us getting something out of the game this time around. Come on reds!
