I didn't really rate any of kenny's signings tbh so as i only really knew andy carroll & not the others so much I wasn't overly confident ( although my sig was dare to believe we'll get 4th )

I wasn't too big on Kennys signings in the summer except Bellamy and Enrique. I was unsure about Carroll at first but then came round to the idea that he could be great for us (How wrong was I) I wasn't too sure how the rest would pan out.

Last season it was less about who he signed in the summer but how are performances were the season before when we had that wonderful run of games where we were smashing every team in sight. I felt if we could have continued that then we would have been easily top 4. Wasn't to be unfortunately.

Stirling still needs nurturing. But this is a great time to get game time and make a difference to the team.

The team pretty much picks itself and I am not sure why we would we be playing GJ on left and Kelly on right.

Surely we are better off with GJ in his natural position and Enrique as a LB.

I'm assuming that Enrique isn't available for whatever reason, but I said a few weeks ago that I think we're likely to see Johnson at LB quite a few times this season, especially if Enrique picks up where he left off last year and that Johnson was the reason we weren't looking for experienced cover for Enrique.

It's a good way to pressure off him and sets a low bar as far as opposition expectations go. Privately Rodgers could be expecting him to rip them a new arsehole.
