While we've played some decent stuff in the first half the game has been quite even, I'd hoped to see more from us. I don't think we have enough attacking threat, we don't look like scoring again.

As for the new boys I think Allen has done alright, I've been a bit dissappointed with Borini, some of his play has been sloppy, I'd like to see more from him, today he hasn't seemed comfortable in the left sided role he's been playing for most of the half.

It will be interesting to see what Rodgers does now, will he change things or stick with the system. There are no obvious changes for me. If we need goals Carroll seems the obvious choice but that means changing the system.

I'd like us to put Borini up front and Suarez on the flank. Think Borini's been quite sloppy in possession and may better serve us up front where he'd spend less time with the ball and more time to get into goalscoring positions.

its going to take time but I was hoping for a little more, still little creativity apart from Suarez, Gerrards forcing it abit, Kelly not been great with ball, Allens still getting used to teammates, Clarke will be very pleased so far apart from that

So here are a few thoughts:

1. Still some growing pains, but I'm pretty confident that after a few months we'll start to look more like the Swansea team that tore the Premier League apart last season, even if that kind of level is still pure fantasy at this point and it's understandable.

3. Joe Allen and Fabio Borini. £26m.

Well, the season has certainly started...I can't really have too many complaints. Love the movement up front. Allen is boss. Just plagued with the usual problems of not finishing and getting beat by brilliant goals. Could do with a bit better from Borini and Gerrard.

Apart from Suarez, where are the goals going to come from?

That's my main concern. I also don't think you can rely on Suarez to get goals regularly, he seems to score his goals in patches.
