With 10 days left and it looking like we put all our efforts into the tello and Sahin deals i have little confidence that we will bring in the players required to push for the top 4. Its going to be another tough season.


What i would like to know is where has all the money gone? We have no debt repayments and have great sponsorship deals and great income so where is the money? We always seem to struggle compared to other clubs and it pisses me off.

Without CL revenue, it makes no difference that we don't have any debts to pay off. The CL money was effectively paying those debts off without the debts and CL football we are no better off.

Also we have paid players off (Aquilani) are paying stupid money to people who offer **** all (Cole) and have paid compensation for Hodgson to Fulham, and for Rodgers to Swansea as well as giving Rafa, Hodgson and Kenny pay offs in the last few years.

Owen was on goals on sunday and you could tell he would jump at the chance of coming back. we havent been in touch but he would have scored some of the chances suarez missed yesterday.

I'd go after Seydou Doumbia but you'd be looking at 20-25m. He is probably attainable.

I was thinking earlier. I thought he was nailed-on for Everton but surely it'd have happened by now, and now they've signed Miralas then I suppose it's even less likely.
