Borini is meant to be suited by the sorts of pass Suarez continually puts into the box after coming in from either side, he sometimes carries the ball well into the box before a short pass across goal, Borini needs to be on the end of a few of those this season.

so seriously,
:we badly need a goal getting striker,
:we dont have an unlimited transfer fund,
:we cant give CL football that the majority of top class players would want,
:we're being priced out of middle of the road players like dempsey,
would anyone take a punt on michael owen???? i hate to say it given what a rat ******* he is but id accept him back right now given that i beleive in this team, with the chances created, and if he could stay fit, he would have 15 league goals a year in him no probs.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

For the sort of goals he scores nowadays I would have more faith in morgan stepping up.
I would prefer to take Kevin Phillips in front Of Owen. Lets face it he hasnt scored one of his old trademark goals for about 10 years. So all you need is someone who knows to be in the right place at the right time.
And paying him 70k a week or wahtever stupid he wants, it would be about the same and way more productive to go for a Rhodes over 3 years_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

I'd have them in that order for CF role.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

WowOriginally posted by rcasemore View PostShows how far we fell last season in terms of shot conversion rate, over a 4% drop from 2010-2011 to 2011-2012.
We have to ensure we don't suffer the same problem again this season.
•2011-2012: 9.13%
•2010-2011: 13.59% •2009-2010: 13.32%
•2008-2009: 13.46%
•2007-2008: 12.52%
•2006-2007: 10.56%
•2005-2006: 10.59%
•2004-2005: 11.61%
Av conversion rate in PL 2011/12: 13.30%
we were lethal under Roy
