    Curbishley?!??!!

HAs Curbishley been at anfield for the last couple of days watching the training??!!!

has anybody else heard this.....or does this firmly belong on dodgyrumours.com?

My mate rang me to tell me although he just heard it elsewhere.....presume a ridiculous rumour.

Surely the press would have been over it,if there was a grain of truth in it?

It's a regular occurance for managers to go and watch training sessions at club whilst they're unemployed. It keeps them in the loop and gives them ideas of where they may be able to improve.

Rafa spent quite a while shadowing Ferguson at the scum whilst he was unemployed.

Like Dunk I have no clue if he was there or not.

But it's not uncommon for out of work managers to visit other clubs to pick up training techniques and such.

Curbs is probably just missing it.

I think he may have. I would have thought that Curbishley was/is doing the same if he's at Melwood. He's obviously not in line for any job at the moment but is looking for fresh ideas in case he gets job in the near future. lets face it there couldn't be anyone better to learn from than Rafa.

                    Yes.
As far as I can remember, he spent time at several clubs, I think Milan, Juve, Arsenal, Man U and a couple of others.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                    * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

If he was there then id say its only looking at Rafas methods and learning from him must be going around to Prem managers while he's on the year off
