Cannot envisage Anfield not giving him rollocks whenever he'd touch the ball, which is all the ManU fans would need to give something back............would degenerate from that point IMO, given the excuses last week at Old Trafford.

If I remember correctly that quote was taken out of context and became this legendary quot. I'm sure I read somewhere someone explaining Shanks never meant it the way it came across.
