The youngsters believe they can rule the world (and they can you know). Shelvey will be back a few games in.

Gerrard has finally - finally - started playing like Stevie G and our tiki taka is getting very spicy. I've got a feeling.
    One tit for another.

The last couple of performances have been promising, the problem is that we still lack goals. In the first half (before Shelvey got sent off) we had dominated the game completely for 35mins, but we didn't score, you need to score when you're on top, and regularly we fail to do that. As positive as some of the games have been I'm just not confident of us getting enough goals to win games.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You know what i'll say it. If we had not sold Torres and he stayed with this system he would have been back to his best. But that ifs and buts. It's looking good but we need to start wining games fast but its good that we have the scum, city and arsenal out of the way. Time to crack on.

Scoring goals is a state of mind rather than an individual expertise. The youngsters don't believe they can miss, even a defender like Wisdom. I reckon this will filter through to the nervous seniors now - heck even Gerrard remembered where the goal is.

You watch Downing score in one of these 7 games. I'm really going out on a limb here now.

Bear in mind we've played the top 3 teams in England & two teams who were playing their first home games of the season - the performances are starting to improve dramatically

We're on the right track - I can still see us finishing at least top 6
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

we're going to take 12 points off those. we're up for the big games and will outclass everton. the rest are fodder that we'll pass to death before stevie steps up and scores against them. Done.

I'm not sure how true this is, but I read earlier that before today we'd taken 20 points from our last 23 league games. So make that 20 points from 24 games. Or 20 points out of a possible 72. That's relegation form. These players have become used to losing - it's something we need to snap out of ASAP, starting at Norwich.
Imo that will be difficult task.

We have issues scoring and with Borini possibly out we will need to turn to 18 and 19 year old kids to helps us put the ball into the net, which is very big challenge.

Norwich away won't be easy nor it will be Stoke at home.

Reading has been leaking many goals and that is probably only game I feel somewhat confident but these other 2 I am not so much.

We just cannot convert, which is exactly the same issue we had last year and nothing really changed this year.

I'd love to see us take 9 out of 9 but 5 out of 9 (I hope we cannot do any worse than that) could also quite easily happen.
