    The youngsters are getting younger

    Next week.

Nine year old playmaker Billy Cartwright is in line for a substitute appearance in the home game against Stoke City
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Ours is the only match with an 8pm kickoff, the others are all 7:45...are we televised tonight then?

          Not on Sky.

They are showing Utd v Newcastle.

I can't help but feel that Rodgers is prejudiced against taller strikers.

Rodgers is doing the correct thing here by protecting those senior players who are fit. His squad choices, especially with the inclusion Sinclair (who has been 16 for less than a week) will sending a clear message to FSG with regards to incoming player needs in the tranny window

But this has a knock on effect and will be true in some of the junior teams, as they will need replacements for those promoted to the first team squad for matches

I think people have to get past the idea of worrying about youth team results. If players are being called up to higher levels then that is success for the youth team not winning things. That sort of philosophy is what has helped Barcelona to build such an effective setup.

That's very true and I agree, but I don't think Assassin was worrying about the youth team results.

Don't make me actually read the rest of the thread.

As Reece says I am not worried about the results. However, there is one concern and it needs to be handled correctly. For lack of a better explanation exposing young boys to older boys has its downsides. We need to ensure these youngsters are not burnt out, injured etc......

Agger and Borini will continue to undergo treatment at Melwood but both are making good progress following the injuries they sustained against United. Danish centre-back Agger, who bruised the bone in his left knee, could be back for Saturday’s game at Norwich.

Borini is suffering from a swollen ankle but there is no fracture and he may also return to training before the end of the week.
                          if true.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'd give him another weeks rest.

Yeah I agree but really am pleased if this news is true as the original thought was months not days.
