I think rudedog may have thought the "FFS" in Shaggy's post was aimed at him, when in actual fact it was a simple show of despair based on a realisation of old age.

Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I have a Jane's Addiction t-shirt that is at least 4 years older than him.
Downing got a lot of stick for last night. But I don't think he was terrible. He just wasn't standout.
He has a place at the club. Not sure what it is though.
Made a similar point in gym this morning. I watched Downing the past two games and then read the amount of stick he’s got and was thinking to myself that if one of the newer players played identically then nobody would say a word. I then realised, he isn’t one of the newer players and he isn’t a kid. He’s been largely ineffectual every game this season and players like Assaidi and Suso have made much more of an impact with much less time. It was Assaidi’s second game last night and he absolutely destroyed his marker every time whereas Downing just did his usual. I’ve been making excuses for him since he joined and kept expecting him to hit form, but now I feel he’s just a waste of a squad place and resources.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
I wonder if we would have let Tom ince go if Rodgers had been manager then? I doubt it TBH
2 points.
1. We didn't let Tom Ince go, we offered him a 4 year contract, he turned it down.
2. He's been playing well for a Championship side, completely different level to Sterling and Suso coming in and performing against Man C and Man U.
The one who may have got away is Kacaclinic (spelling) who we gave to Fulham as part of the Konchesky deal.
He has been playing well for Fulham on the left wing in the PL, he just doesn't have a gob****e ex player as his Dad.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
Band t shirts and CDs. Now you're talking. I have loads that older him.
I have a suit and a bike jacket old enough to be his parents. Maybe they are...
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
