Only watched the second half, but superb performance and result. Things are looking very positive for the future. This will give massive confidence to the young players and hopefully should make the senior players realise that they can't rest on their laurels.

So, out of Wisdom and Robinson...who do you think deserves to start on Saturday?

Just seen the goals. Sexy football for the second one, lovely work from Suso.

Cautious optimism but the future is looking good!

I don't think I can ever remember us having so many under 21 players who are this good. It's an explosion of talent and I'm loving it.

I can't see where Sigurdsson would have been any better than we have. Such crackin players coming through.

I'm not sure, I think Robinson has the edge in terms of ability and will develop into a very good footballer, but Wisdom has the edge in terms of strength at the moment. They offer different things but it's a close call. Personally I would go with Robinson but that is partly because I'd like to see Johnson return to his favoured RB position
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Dare I say it... It could be a blessing in disguise that we didn't sign anyone else in the summer. OK I know we still need a goalscorer but who know's maybe as our play evolves with lots of players chipping in, it will become less important.

I'd go for Robinson too Taking nothing away from Wisdom though because he has been outstanding. They both give us very good options.

if there was ever a reason for Downing , Cole and Enrique never to play again then it was tonight , buzzing at how good we were from front to back and I think it is really helping the younger players having someone like Carra on the pitch to encourage and support them hopefully in both the CC and Europa Brendan continues this policy I fully expect Sahin, Suso , Assaidi ( Downing this is what a winger should do !!!) and Wisdom to force their way into the 1st team

                        Roll on Norwich on Saturday

For some reason I'd go for Wisdom, really like both players but with Agger being out I'd rather we keep..

                          Wisdom-Skrtel-Coates-Johnson

                          Than..

                          Johnson-Skrtel-Coates-Robinson

Keep the younger players away from each other even though they've both been class tonight.

Genuine question: how strong was the West Brom line-up?
                            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Got to look for any silver lining we can get from the transfer window -our youth can definitely be the catalyst for this season.

Hopefully other young players will look to us as the place to move to as opposed to Arsenal for example.

Just like to add, young Sama who was on the bench tonight looks a bit of a player too. He'd do equally as well if he was to step in IMO.
