Allowed their goal when Jones got punched in the face, and let Mulumbu off with a "talking to" after what was in my opinion a clear red card (and then moments later booked Wisdom for what was even a debatable foul).

Not to mention the multiple blatant fouls on Assaidi by Dawson. There were at least two that were the most obvious bookings you’ll ever see when Assaidi was past him and he cynically obstructed him with no attempt at all to play the ball.

Then there was the foul on Yesil who was punished for trying to stay on his feet and then they nearly hit us on the counter.

Most things been covered already but…

Was pleased with Pacheco in the second half. I thought against Young Boys he worked his balls off but just didn’t get involved enough. It was a similar story first half last night and playing in the playmaker role he really should have got involved more. He really impressed me with his workrate again though, almost reminded me of Kuyt at times. He clearly has talent and is obviously working very hard to impress, so I hope he gets a few more chances.

Was also impressed with Sahin’s set-piece delivery, rarely missed the target. Can see plenty of goals from corners with him in the team.

Everyone has pretty much said everything. Was struck me was that the likes of Cole & Downing in particular really have no business at LFC. High earners that are pretty much wastes of space. These young lads have come in and shown hunger and fight that puts Downing & Cole to shame. Downing was an embarrassment last night, could have put a mannequin on the RM instead of him and we wouldn't have even noticed.

Come January get these the hell out!!! As regards Henderson did ok yesterday better in second half.. although i thought Sahin just dominated the whole midfield and Henderson did the mopping up. For a guy we paid £16 million quid for, first teamers ahead of him in the pecking order & with the talent coming through. Do people think its good for LFC in our current financial predicament & for Jordan Henderson himself if he is a bench warmer? Which he will be and rightly so. He could fetch good money still, obviously not as much as we paid but would people be happy if we sold Henderson in the summer and invested that money into other areas?

He decided that it wasn't fair on LFC and the fans that he gets so much money every week and has done sweet **** all for LFC, so he has opted out of his contract, doesn't want any money & is on his merry way.
