If it hadn't been for Carragher, the average age would actually have been negative.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'll say it again what a ****ing goal that was. Suso is the real deal. The way he spots sahin after he has laid the ball of to Alssaidi shows he has vision.

I was thinking, SHOOT made as much a fool of me as he did the defenders. Hope we get him a contract sorted as soon as

The ball went all the way to defence then a quick fire transition to attack and a goal!

Assaidi's pass to Sahin was brilliant. Perfectly weighted and directed and Sahin's finish was clever.

                  Liverpool is exciting again!

Couple of nice bits of rapid one touch footer from the much maligned Jordan Henderson in the build up too.

Suso is some player ... he will be an immense impact sub for us this campaign

I thought Henderson did ok in the game.

Sahin looks a bit slow but obviously he's classy on the ball. Some good interceptions too although he won't get away with such blatant shirt pulling against "cleverer" players. Also the LFCTV commentator says he has "an important toe".

Downing was almost invisible. That's poor.

For me the movement of Wisdom shows how we are starting to play.. It was a small run but the way he ran to open up the pass from Henderson which allowed him to pass back to Coates and then a lovely pass to Suso. It's so good to watch!

Sinclair's movement combined with Suso's feint to pull the defenders out and drop on on his arse ensured they left Assaidi free to pass across the box to an unmarked Sahin.

                          ****ing lovely.

The youngsters with adapt to Rodgers ways quite easily as they have been brought up to play that way, its the first team that's going to take longer to adapt. I still don't think we'll see a Rodgers team until more of the old guard are moved on.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

There is definately more fluidity in the passing from the youngsters than our more senior players

Has anyone pointed out how nice it was to see us come from behind to win? Because it was.
