The ball went all the way to defence then a quick fire transition to attack and a goal!
Assaidi's pass to Sahin was brilliant. Perfectly weighted and directed and Sahin's finish was clever.

For me the movement of Wisdom shows how we are starting to play.. It was a small run but the way he ran to open up the pass from Henderson which allowed him to pass back to Coates and then a lovely pass to Suso. It's so good to watch!
Sinclair's movement combined with Suso's feint to pull the defenders out and drop on on his arse ensured they left Assaidi free to pass across the box to an unmarked Sahin.

The youngsters with adapt to Rodgers ways quite easily as they have been brought up to play that way, its the first team that's going to take longer to adapt. I still don't think we'll see a Rodgers team until more of the old guard are moved on.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - SessegnonComment
