Feel the same way, just hope when we do we carry it on. Happened far too many times when we've got a good result then the next few have been incredibly disappointing!

that's exactly what my fear is. i hope lfc youngsters can learn how to lose too, and that they must stay together even if the club is in bad run...

I hope Suarez was watching the WBA game thinking about how he could contribute to our passing game and not trying to be a superhero trying the impossible all the time. As much as I like Suarez and appreciate his talent, he does try it too often when it only comes off about 5% of the time.

It's a really exciting team. Sterling and Assaidi out wide will give the full backs hell, and Allen, Sahin & Stevie will keep the ball forever. Very exciting. Wish it was tonight to be honest, I can hardly wait
Ideally we should keep one of Sterling and Assaidi on the bench to give us options IMO. The problem is that no one who seems a good fit to come in instead if Borini is unfit. I think I'd start him if he is.

What is it you think Borini offers, that others don’t?

I’d be happy with either Suso or Assaidi for him. In fact on current form, I think I’d start either of them before him regardless of fitness, although I do think he’ll be a good player in time.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Assuming we start Suarez centrally of course.

I like his movement off the striker and way he backs up attacks. I think in the first half against United for the first time we looked to have bodies in the box in good positions at the right time and he was a big part of that. My general feeling is that two wing orientated players leave us with two little penetration unless the CMs bomb forward. If we had Lucas I would be fine with that but I think we have struggled in the defensive aspects of the game in the PL (especially in midfield) so we have to be somewhat more cautious.

Maybe Suso is a better option but I think so far he too has mostly been provider rather than looking to offer a direct threat.

I can actually see an argument for dropping Suarez. Though I don't think I would do it.

Is there anyone who *wouldn't* start Sahin?

I doubt it given Shelvey is out and Norwich have not looked that great this season.

Aye, his movement is very good, but so far it hasn’t produced any goals in the league. You could see a massive difference when he came on for Pacheco against Young Boys though.

Ad I said, I like him as a player though, and maybe even he could be a good option to come off the bench to exploit any space against tired defenders chasing Sterling and Assaidi all day.

Depends where Suso plays. I assume he was rested with Norwich in mind.

I like Reeces team, and if Agger isn't fit i'd be happy with Coates in there. As for the Suarez debate well IMO he naturally drifts wide anyways but.... he does this as he is trying to make things happen. Maybe with the likes of Sterling and Assaidi he wouldn't have to be looking for the ball as much as he usually does as both of these players will be able to give him some decent delivery & he can't concentrate on his finishing.. instead of being knackered and running around like a mad man. No way would i start Borini.. he has looked way off the pace, Assaidi at LM done more in one game than Borini has since he joined.

IMO the fitter Sahin and Assaidi get, the better for our first 11. Also, i would like to see Suso on again at some point.. he is a special talent that IMO needs to be shown that all his progress is and will be rewarded with game time for the first team. Gotta keep him happy

That's what I mean - Sahin played the full game (although he obviously needed it) while Suso appeared to be saved.

Sahin has to replace Shelvey IMO.

Well whoever it is, Shelvey will be cursing mark Halsey because it will be very hard for him to force his way back into the team.
