Riena made another error for their first goal yesterday by not holding onto the ball. If he keeps that up i can see Rodgers bringing another keeper in to really push him as he is too comfortable at the minute. Skrtel also needs to get his head together as he made another mistake yesterday which gifted them their second.

The defence is a concern as it seems every mistake is being punished by a goal at the minute.

Just heard that absolute **** Ray Houghton on the radio. I think it was FiveLive. The presenter was effusive in her praise for us yesterday but Houghton as usual wanted to put a dampener on it. He actually said: "I'd rather Liverpool won 2-1 every week instead of 5-2 because I just don't think they'll score enough goals"

He then said - and I thought this was quite telling - "I tell you what annoys me, and this annoys a lot of ex-players too - it's Brendan Rodgers getting all the praise in the world as though he invented this sort of football and as if Liverpool have never passed and moved before. It's all Liverpool ever did, in the 60s, 70s, 80s and the rest. Even last season they played some great stuff under Kenny and nearly every week the man of the match was the opposition keeper."

Mate Ray Houghton is the biggest prick i have heard on the radio. People bang on about Lawro but he has nothing on that bitter cunt. If he thinks he knows it all i would invite him too do his FA and Uefa badges and see how well he does as a manager.

We all knew it wasn't 50% anyway. It's pathetic though that MOTD still quoted the figure as you only have to watch the game to see it must be wrong. Although I suppose if no-one there watches games in their entirety we have an explanation for their pisspoor 'analysis'.

He did say we'd been playing good football and not getting the results last season though.

But yeah he was keen to remind people that Liverpool had always been a pass and move team.
