Saw a story today that really got to me. There is a local 7 year old girl who loves football and also , sadly , has a very rare illness which gives her only a few years to live. I have two daughters about her age and a situation like this i find truly heartbreaking.
There is a children's wish like appeal to help send her and her family to Disneyland. After reading of the appeal, I put the call out on twitter etc, to drum up support, reached out to the LFC twitter channels, in the hopes that the story may go viral and the appeal will be a success.
Got a message from the family and coincidentally, the young girl happens to be a massive Liverpool fan and thanks for the support.
So , if anyone can help get the word out, or knows how to get the story to the official channels, it would be greatly appreciated.
If there is anyway to get the club involved with something as small even as a signed card , Im sure the impact it would have in this girls life would be massive.
