We're in big trouble here if Rodgers doesn't make changes. Wisdon is all over the place, Jones is a bag of nerves, Sterling and Suso are not in the game, and Sahin and Allen are getting swamped in the middle.

Sahin has been disappointing. Think we need to stiffen up the midfield somehow. Shelvey or Downing maybe. i suppose Henderson isn't a bad shout.

Jones looks very dodgy under the high ball - fully to blame for that first goal. Sterling has done nothing. Wisdom looks like he's struggling. Suso awol too. Changes pls.

Everton have shown this retention and tiki taka style is easily disrupted at this stage in Brendan's management.

Yep I think everyone's aware Jones is a weak link. Don't think Rodgers will make that substitution though.

On a more constructive note, Everton's main threat is down their left. Unfortunately for us, Wisdom is having a 'mare at rightback and Suso doesn't want to get his kit muddy, so we're extremely vulnerable and it needs addressing.

We're getting bossed in the middle of the park and just can't get a foothold back into the game. Stick Gerrard wide right, Suso back to the left and Shelvey for Sterling. Gerrard can help Wisdom out and we add some more tenacity to our midfield.

We also need the ball to stick when it reaches Suarez.

Think we've been rubbish defensively because we haven't been able to control the game. It's hard to keep your head in a derby, it's been frenetic and we need to slow the game down.

We're really seeing that we have 3 inexperienced kids in the team today. Talented lads but they're being targetted a bit. Great faith by Rodgers to go with them all but its hurting us in the physical battle big time.

Jones and Enrique at fault for the 2 goals and both do worrt me... we need to do something to shore the back up a bit. Bring Carra on?

Having said that we look dangerous upfront too and can score more.

We're all over the shop at times, and looking like last seasons Liverpool

Some of our players just dont seem to have the right intensity for this game, they're not treating it like a derby. Everton, on the other hand and completely fired up. The question is whether they'll be able to keep it up for the full 90 minutes.

The game is playing out how Everton would want it, rather that how we'd like it. Rodgers needs to change something to get the game played on our terms.

He's really good at running with the ball at pace, Miralles. He is making Wisdom look bad. Not sure we have any options on the bench to address it other than bringing Downing on to drop deeper to help cover Wisdom.

Can;t help but think shelvey isn't composed enough for a Merseyside derby...
