I thought it did okay. Especially early on. I think it is the midfield 3 that he needs to work on.

I don't like having 5 defenders on the pitch, and the way we play it, it seems to be to counter defensive weakness. We've had a lot of possession even when playing 4 defenders, so I don't see how playing 5 is a step forward. The game really changed when we switched formation and we looked more dangerous.

Enrique is excellent as long as he releases the ball quickly. It seems that Rodgers is working on this. MOM, was fully deserved today

Although he gave the ball away a few times his energy plus the change in formation lead to a much better last half hour.

I hope Sahin was watching and understanding that he needs to move and get involved a bit more than he has been.
