Defo a few games there for the taking , but with our recent results I'm not to optimistic.,just hope we start to climb that table soon as.

I see draws. Lots of draws.

Suarez will get another booking and miss some of those games. But even with him in the team we lack a genuine goal threat from other parts of the pitch.

I'd be happy for the booking to come against Spuds so he only misses Southampton.

Even the way we have been playing we should win every one of those home League games

Enrique looks like he is improving and if Lucas comes back soon then we can be rejuvinated. I hope Morgan gets his chance soon as I think he can contribute something.

Sahin needs to be benched and Suso dropped into the centre to pull the strings. He is our Silva/Mata/Fabregas.

We are desperate to put some points on the board.

Is it 12 points from a possible 33. it was always going to be a tough start but its turned out to be tougher than I was expecting.

Great run of games and amazingly we are right on the heels of Spurs & Arsenal. Despite the credentials of Everton I see them as the serious challengers for 4th long term.

I think 15 points from our next 8 league games is very realistic. Say 4 wins, 3 draws and a random loss. That would give us 27 points after 19 games, not good but not utterly terrible either all things considered, on course for a 55 point season with players to come in in Jan to make us stronger and hopefully improve that points tally in the second half.

I was going to make a Silva/Mata comparison the other night with Suso then pulled back from it in not wanting to over do it with the lad. I genuinely believe he can be that good though in 4 or 5 years, whether he should and could really be playing that role for us now is another question, not sure he'd be consistent enough or whether it would be at all fair.

He's not at that level yet admittedly but in a few years he'll get stronger and more tactically aware then we'll possibly have a world class player on our hands.

Mata and Silva both started their careers cutting in from the wings too and are now wonderful attacking midfielders. Maybe he is doing his apprenticeship like they did, it seemed to work for them?

                          So did Cazorla.

I wondered why Borrell would insist on playing Suso on the right wing in the reserves. He was clearly worse in that position than the middle. Its some Spanish conspiracy.

to address his weaknesses and improve them.

they already know what he's good at but at prem level your weaknesses are highlighted very quickly. All the best players will be played out of position so that they have a wider appreciation of football.

                            its just part of learning.
