Suarez is on fire!! Only 8 points off CL spots now, it has to remain our target!
We are only 9 off third place

Regarding the first half, my opinion was that it was Wigans game plan to dull the game out and it worked. To a certain extent, the only negative from the result is that it took a mistake fom them for us to score rather than carving out the goal ourselves.

With the games we've got coming up we should string some wins together, if we do or not is obviously a different story.

Sterlings awareness is brilliant. He alway has his head up looking to pick out players in the box. It's so refreshing to see this instead of the head down merchants

I love the way he plays with virtually no fear. To be able to be so aware whilst being so quick is a real talent. The way he ruined that defender (forgot who it was) to set up Suarez for the first goal was sublime. Just left him in the rear view.

Damn fine win today, 3 much needed points and I think we can all look to Arsenal's dirge start last year to show that the comeback can be done. Enrique was immense, in fact the majority of the team were brilliant today. Good times

Suarez is world class and wouldn't swap him with anyone else... very dull first half but second half was excellent...Enrique still frustrates me although he was probably our best player in the second half. Suso being taken off was a little odd but Henderson done really well and it gave Gerrard a bit more freedom to do what he does best further up the pitch.

Very pleased with second half performance and a clean sheet as well.

Brilliant second half and good energy from Henderson after the swap, he did well. Enrique further forward looks a great decision just now, he offers so much more than Downing.

Brave decision to change things so early in the game, but a pity in that he didn't get the lineup right first time for the third game on the trot - positive game changing decisions from Brendan.

                        Bit good that Suarez.

From that list of our next 10 games...i still remain positive that we should be winning each one of those but i see spurs as a possible loss & fulham as another tricky fixture (although if we do actually pick up a run of wins then we'll probably beat fulham too). Glad that we got wigan & a win out the way and long may this continue

Enrique has more assist and goals in the Premier League as a winger in 90min than Stewart Downing has in the league since joining Liverpool

Don't we have Swansea away? They have beat us already and they just beat Newcastle at their own stadium. They look like a strong team now.
