Must be said also that Glen Johnson was class today. He really is a top full back. One of the very best in the league.

Yet some still maintain he is great going forward but can;t defend. Just shows you how some fools lap up the Sky agenda.

I didn't see the game, anyone think Luis might be in trouble over this?

                  Nigel Adderley ‏@nadderley

Luis Suarez got away with a nasty stamp on David Jones which could be dealt with retrospectively if referee didn't see it #LFC #WAFC #motd

Just back from the match now.

The first half was a bit slow but we come out the blocks in the 2nd half and luis and Enrique were great today. Sterling was good but there were times when he coud have ran at the wigan defence but chose to slow the play right down.

All in all a good solid win.

I saw the luis incident but was too far away too see if it was a stamp or not but the wigan player wasn't down for a long time and was up quite quick IIRC

Just ****stirrers. He stepped on his ankle as he tackled him. Some people are hell bent on undermining him as much as possible

If it's what I think he's refering to it was a challenge where he caught him late on the ankle in a genuine attempt to win the ball. Yeah it should have been a freekick, but if the FA take action for this they'd be taking action against alot of other players every week.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                          Cheers gents

No doubt MOTD will put some spin on it.

The stamp looked deliberate to me but I couldn't care less - he's my hero

It looked a bit naughty but he could very easily have been genuinely trying for the ball. RVP gets away with that sort of thing time and time again and is never scrutinised.

Thought Henderson looked really sharp out there, could tell he was playing for his spot in the squad
