if they didn't take action against Luis for the Everton one (forget the player) then surely they can't for this one?

Henderson was quality when he came on. I don't know why Suso went off? The only thing i could think of was wigan were getting too much of the ball in the first half so Hendo come on the break the play up.

The attempted tackle, not STAMP happened right in front of the linesman and he did not wave for a foul

Just seen someone say Watson broke his leg in the challenge with Sterling, I didn't think it was that serious. Hope he recovers quickly.

            Edit: just seen Shaggy's post

The watson, Sterling looked like a 50-50 to get the ball. Didn't look like much TBH. Hope he makes a quick recovery.

Strange injury as Sterling accidentally caught his shin with his knee when they both jumped for a ball. Pure accident. If Suarez would have done that people would be calling for him to be banned indefinitely

If only Milan Baros had the same qualities back in the day... drove me up the walls that.
I will always blame Moores and Parry.

along with Cisse and Babel - we've had our fair share.

I bet its been a long time since a liverpool manager made a tactical substition in the first half, never mind a winning one.

Great 3 points, clean sheet & hopefully much more of them on the way for Pepe. As per usual Suarez dragged us into the game, the guy is incredible. Never gives up, so determined....just doesn't stop and that will will to win is what makes players world class! Must be an absolute nightmare to play against.

Sterling did well today again, great talent and his end product will no doubt simprove. Henderson did quite well to so credit where credit is due. I'm just looking forward to when Lucas comes back and with Lucas and Allen solidifying and controlling that CM, Gerrard can push up the park getting closer to Suarez & closer to goal. IMO we'll see a much more effective and productive player.

Anyways great three points and few results went our way... long may it continue! Need a run of wins desperately.

P.S. Love Rogers no nonsense approach, if something ain't working he sorts it out straight away.

definately. He hasn't been great this season & IMO doesn't have the legs to control the midfield anymore. But he can certainly pick a pass and has a great strike of a ball. Playing him closer to goal & in turn closer to Suarez could be very productive.

Good win but one we should be winning easily anyway.

Nice to see someone else get on the scoresheet apart from Suarez for a change.

Time to kick on and move forward now and get some more wins under our belt.

Really need to get a finisher in in the next window too, it's imperative that we do so.
