That was pretty good. Fab result and good performance in second half.

I can't wait for our 3 man midfield of Lucas, Allen and Gerrard.

I said in the Gerrard thread that i'd play him as a CF...possibly from next season.
Can still pick a decent/40 yard pass...but that horsepower drive from midfield into the box aint there...would deffo benefit from playing closer to the goal & closer to Suarez.
              Imagine a front three of

              Sterling Gerrard Suarez!

              Dare i say it...Torres Gerrard Suarez :P

Should have taken him off at half time.

Bloody relief - a home win. Too few and far between these days. Got to love Louis.

@Shaggy - what's with the lots of Unwineses? Been listening to the Small Faces?

Looked a wee bit deliberate alright, but I think it'll blow over with nothing being looked at.

removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

So where was Suso playing before he got hooked?

Never gives up, so determined....just doesn't stop and that will will to win is what makes players world class! Must be an absolute nightmare to play against.

Sterling did well today again, great talent and his end product will no doubt simprove. Henderson did quite well to so credit where credit is due. I'm just looking forward to when Lucas comes back and with Lucas and Allen solidifying and controlling that CM, Gerrard can push up the park getting closer to Suarez & closer to goal. IMO we'll see a much more effective and productive player.

Anyways great three points and few results went our way... long may it continue! Need a run of wins desperately.

P.S. Love Rogers no nonsense approach, if something ain't working he sorts it out straight away.

I wouldn't want to see players subbed out in the 1st half too often though as it affects confidence. Especially for the kids.

It wasn't working,he fixed it. Can't not make a vital game winning change, just to save the feelings of any player, regardless of age.... Suso will get over it. 3 points is more important than his pride.

This won't happen all the time but to me it shows that if things need to be changed, Rogers will show urgency and sort it out rather than leave it until it's too late.
