Henderson is pretty mobile (its probably his major attribute)

He'd be better in a deeper role maybe even working alongside Allen in front of the back four

It is but it doesn't happen overnight, we are proving hard to beat but dont have enough attacking outlets to score our goals (something that has been a problem for many, many years).

The squad needs to be improved and given more depth with quality rather than over paid players who offer very little such as Joe Cole & Stewart Downing

I dont think our squad is any worse than a number of those higher than us in the league

I think we are underperforming frankly

It's an odd one - I think the problems are more to do with the fact that (for the third season running) it doesn't seem we have the right players for the way we want to play. That is exacerbated by the frankly baffling decision to not see goal scoring as the main problem for the squad during the summer and the injury to Borini.

All of the clubs above us have at least two half decent forward players offering a goal threat. West Brom have three and are now seeing a disproportionate benefit from that compared to the quality of their team. All of the above said it is often hard to diagnose what solutions would work the best for a system you aren't very familiar with in it's current environment. I certainly don't remember anyone saying this time last year that what Wigan desperately needed was a specialist Wingback from the championship and to further push ahead with their 3-5-2 experiment, on occasion moving Figueroa into centreback. Worked for them though. Perhaps given another transfer window Rodgers will pull of a similar trick and the good things that we have developed now will bear fruit.

I think it is reasonable to under perform to some degree as we aim to change system and refine that and develop players.

I still think he should be doing better

Look at the job Steve Clarke has done with inferior players

Hes hit the ground running

I'm also not that confident that we are seeing real progress or development

Now maybe Lucas returning changes that and maybe January does

At the moment Brendan has done little or nothing to improve anything other than our passing stats

Results have not improved, whereas you look at Swansea and I believe Laudrup has actually improved their results and league position

We have one fit striker. We are relying on kids to give us any decent squad cover and our only decent wide player is 17. We have three top quality defenders and a world class striker. Our captain is completely off form and the rest of the team is meh. We don't really deserve to be higher than mid table.

No one knows if Clarke did say anything or not, thats a private matter. The only time an assistant had said something was Paco over Babel and look what happened to him. The Managers decision is final

The FSG asked him to stay. He stayed, he showed loyalty. He got sacked by FSG receptionist the min BR was appointed. Look that up, or watch MOTD very 1st one of the season when it was openly said on TV and print media.

He's definitely a lot better further up the pitch than in defence (although it's only been a couple of games. )

I've always been wary about this converting fullbacks to wingers bollocks but it might just work for Enrique.
