as long we will have downing and cole in the team we won't achieve nothing more than 8th place. that's a fact. and i'm not underestimating anyone, that's just ****ing reality. choose those two before other youngsters, for example yesil and assaidi it's against all logic. problem with lfc is, that there is no quality in the team. if owners won't spend big this january, lfc will finish in the middle of the table, i.e. 10th.

I'm really unsure about him. I can't see him being anything more than a squad player. If he's the standard of a first teamer, even if he improves, then its a worry.

He really does need to do more. At the moment he is not really contributing to the team in any way. At the moment he shouldn't be in the starting lineup. After great start here... He has really gone downhill

Peno was dodgy but the injury to Enrique is what has changed this game.... The decision should have been to bring on Coates / Carragher and move Agger to left back (or Johnson to LB, skrtel right back) - especially when we were winning at the time

Bring Suso on and send Gerrard out wide ffs.

Not having Assaidi on the bench was a **** decision, at Swansea he had two pacey wingers in Sinclair and Dyer.

He has the option to put a similar kind of player on the bench, but instead he goes for Joe Cole.

I think Rodgers needs to stop respecting the players as much, if Gerrard is playing poorly take him off.

If that was the case he'd have been dragged off at HT practically every game this season.
