This is the worst I've seen us play in many a long while. Raheem and Shelvey were God awful for most of the game. Others were not much better (barring Johnson). At 2-1 down I kept thinking we're so sh*t we can only win this game, there will be no drawing.

Crucial result, maybe the turnaround result we needed and more important Brendan needed. His subs did the business yet again, including Coates who offered steel.

A deserved 3 points. Quality was lacking from a lot of our play but most of the players were getting stuck in and didn't give up. The two CBs had a particularly tough physical battle but they always competed and didn't back down.

We know we can play better than this and this was one of those afternoons were the players didn't seem to look interested. The fact that we got a win away to a very physical team, off the back of a Europa league group deciding game, I think it shows we are growing.

Super happy for the 3 points but we can't ignore that **** period in the middle! We have shown that we are as good as any team (even with this squad) but we need those performances to be more consistent & Rodgers's style of play to start being more prominent. The Jan Tranny Window is massively crucial for us (as has been said so often) to bring in quality & cement that consistency we need!
