No of course not but I am not seeing us having major issues. We're still way behind where we should be but we aren't as bad as some people make it out. I think.
    Are we winning?

All the great Liverpool teams had that patience in them.
Agreed. All the time we have the ball, the opposition don't. We are starting to remind me of the Rafa years - we dominate the ball and seem to concede from the only pissing chance the oppo get or our mistake.
At the moment we generally only come unstuck when we lose the ball in our buildup, but this will happen less and less the more players Rodgers gets in.

I enjoyed the game today We weren't at our best but we still won. We've rarely done that in the last 2/3 seasons and we cam back from behind to win. Away!

It's been subtle from week to week but we are growing as a team and as individuals. I'm getting quite optimistic again.

As others have said, only 4 points off 4th and January is just around the corner.

We need better movement and forward options to give the man in possession. We need to improve our pass and move football. Right now it is just pass pass pass but with very little movement and penetration in the right areas of the pitch.

Maybe a better class of players will help, but as it looks like FSG are skint can we see the type of player we need joining us?

What worries me is we're slowly sliding in to mid table obscurity.
        We come not to play.

It's so nice to see some semblence of tactics and understanding. It was painful watching us under both Hodgson and Kenny - the style under both was archaic.

Full backs pushed up, centre backs split, Lucas dropping in...lovely to see today

If we lost today it would have been a very bitter pill to swallow but we got away with it. And now only 4 points off fourth haha. So we are very very lucky to still genuinely be in with a shout for CL football, but we really need a big window in January. If we make it to 4th this season it will be an absolutely incredible achievement, but I still have faith we can finish top 6.

I enjoyed the game too. Mainly because if we think back to last season, if we went 2-1 down at half time we probably would have lost the game. The way we came back to win 3-2 is a sign of improvement.

                Typical continental style football.

don't think we need a big name player - just someone to bang a few goals in and take advantage of the chaos that Luis causes.. how many times has he crossed into an empty box?

Seriously? I'm trying to remember the last penalty decision we got and surely it was less than a year ago...

The worrying thing is that we aren't getting many in the box. Even buying a top goalscorer, he needs other people around him in the box to be marked by the other defenders, otherwise he will just be sounded out. Whenever I see us attempting a cross I always check who's in there and usually there is just one solitary red shirt with about 3 defenders around him.

It's about the right ball in the box, not the number of players in there.

No we were not, we hung in there and got some luck, and it's about time. 3 great points is all that matters but they were the better side.
