Ohh and Henderson has looked alright since your critique the other day
I only said that the other day about luck stop exaggerating dude. It ain't all about good luck or bad luck. We weren't great today but didn't give up, fought hard and got some luck. We'll take it and happy days.

And Henderson is ****, but if he keeps coming on as an impact sub, which was my original opinion about him and Downing when they signed that's fine by me. Some decent showings boost his fee so we can get a better player in.... great stuff for the club.

        32.4 1st Half Poss. 67.6
        40.7 2nd Half Poss. 59.3

We had much more possession first half yet conceded 2 and only scored 1
Although dominant, we had less possession in the 2nd half and conceded 0 yet scored 2

Possession is far from everything, it's about where we have it on the pitch and how we use it.
        spot on.

West Ham easily had more luck than us today

Penalty that could have been ignored, Penalty against ignored that should have been given.

Foul on Sterling, yellow given, red a really possibility.

          Own goal from Gerrard.

Yeah we had a bit of luck with the own goal but it wasn't the deciding factor in us winning.

EDIT: Well the goal was But I mean luck goes both ways and if it were even we'd have won more comfortably

I'm sure I've read you saying it quite a lot. FWIW I kind of agree we need to stop complaining about bad luck as I feel it can become a self for filling prophecy. But in that respect I don't think we can be happy when we get good luck. Does that make sense?

On Henderson, I think you are extremely harsh on him. He is far from ****. As evidenced by some of his performances. He is inconsistent, which is very frustrating. But I don't think he has been half bad this season. He was massively overplayed last year, and maybe that's effected his development. Don't think we will be selling him soon either.

Thank you. I'd like to think that I'm optimistic without being deluded either.

I think i've said it twice, and yes makes perfect sense

As regards Henderson, people on here know that i'm not a fan of his. When i say **** it's just tongue in cheek. I have a rep to uphold

Anyways he may not be entirely ****, but i just don't rate him. He is a wimp and that's what gets me about him all mouth no trousers. The fact Rogers tried to offload him in the summer and the fact that he has got hardly any game time suggests to me that Rogers feels the same way. Personally i'd be happy if we got decent fee for him in January or the summer, to fund better players coming in, just my opinion

I'm happy with the way things have gone overall. It's not been perfect but we've no right to expect plain sailing, and our trajectory in terms of performance looks pretty decent. Let's keep building, fingers crossed some movement in January can help our cause

If that happened to Manu, there'd be questions asked in the House of Commons..

We were awarded a penalty vs Chelsea in May last season, which Downing missed, and one against Arsenal which Kuyt missed and ended up 2-1 to Arsenal.

Exactly. Refs know there's no point giving them and save us the time and embarrassment. We should be thanking them really
