Whenever I see us attempting a cross I always check who's in there and usually there is just one solitary red shirt with about 3 defenders around him.
If those defender's are marking the new 'goalscorer' that means that they are not marking super suarez!! And vice versa...either way it will take some pressure off suarez & at the same time get us more goals (well at least in theory!)

I can't remember the last time we won a game despite not even remotely deserving it but goddamn it's a nice feeling.

In a way it's kind of pathetic to be relieved at beating West Ham but hey, that's where we are right now.

Its not pathetic at all. They're not relegation fodder and an away win is always good

West Ham are **** though and an Allardyce team is as predictable as Jordan getting her fanny out - everyone knows they're going to throw crosses into the box and therefore you should at least be well prepared for it. We weren't.

I thought overall we probably deserved to win even though we didn’t play that well. I don’t think it was down to luck at all as if anything we had less luck. People keep claiming Diame going off was the turning point and to a certain extent they are right but before Enrique went off we were in complete control. That was an unfortunate blow for us so early in the game and completely changed the dynamic of the match as Cole was pretty anonymous before the goal. Thought the penalty was very harsh and the og was very unfortunate so on that basis West Ham were lucky to be ahead.

3 wins on the trot, 3 points after being behind, goals after 75 mins, things definitely looking up.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                  We'll be alright.

The midfield has had a lapse for the whole of this season

This is the worst midfield I've seen for a long time, with or without the ball

At the moment we generally only come unstuck when we lose the ball in our buildup, but this will happen less and less the more players Rodgers gets in.

I enjoyed the game today We weren't at our best but we still won. We've rarely done that in the last 2/3 seasons and we cam back from behind to win. Away!

It's been subtle from week to week but we are growing as a team and as individuals. I'm getting quite optimistic again.

As others have said, only 4 points off 4th and January is just around the corner.
The difference between Rafa teams and the current one is that Rafas were supremely organised in terms of shape and the defensive side of things

I dont see anything near that in our current set up

But still we've created more shooting opportunities than any other side in the Prem. go figure.

Thought we handled it well myself, they just happened to get two flukey goals.

But I can see what Lec is saying. Our midfield is open and was dominated yesterday for large periods until Diame went off injured.

Allen is a busy little player but is so weak on the ball and in the tackle, I honestly just do not get him. I can understand that given our squad he needed to play yesterday, but long term I can't see him being more than a back-up/squad player.

Allen has looked very poor for me recently, so poor that Henderson has looked better

The thing about Allen is that he doesnt win enough possession or effect the game high up the pitch so I can understand why people question his use to the side

I suppose time will tell on that one

The penalty was flukey but I can see why the referee might have given it

The OG should have been cut out at source by Johnson. If you allow players to put dangerous crosses into the box then you increase the chances of one of your players making an error

Rafa's sides that he 'inherited' in the first season and a half were organised because he went defensive, so kept an inverted triangle while he put his philosophy in place and brought in the players he wanted.

Brendan is being more adventurous while going through the same rebuilding process in only his first 3 months! I can already see the organisation he is insisting upon from his team(s) and I can see certain players letting him down - which is expected.
