So the biggest things we can criticise them for are appointing an LFC legend and former highly successful manager, who'd done a fantastic interim job post-Bodge, backing that manager fully in rebuilding the team, and not having the gift of hindsight and realising that the whole thing would turn into a cluster****.

Oh, and appointing a rubbish head of PR who they quickly sacked when it became apparent that he was a dick.

Just to remind you :

We're 5th in the form table and 4 points off 4th place after our worst start to a season in PL history.

We conceded 12 goals in our first 6 league games but we've conceded 8 in our last 10 league games.

Well the Comolli and Dalglish appointments werent great on reflection

Neither was trusting them with millions and allowing them free rein

Maybe catastrophic is too strong but their decision making isnt great and the worrying thing is that it didnt just end with Comolli & Dalglish as the subsequent appointment of their PR guru showed

It doesnt hurt any more than any other manager who has failed

Results have improved but I dont think we've improved defensively as the last few league games have clearly showed

Lec you mentioned the word Facts, someone produced them and you don't like the outcome.

In fairness, Rodgers has much to prove, and I'm sure he knows it as much as anyone. Comparing him to Kenny & Rafa is daft as they are legends at this club and he has won nothing. But tbf to the man, it's impossible to have won anything by this stage.

But we can argue about the passing game, point to missed chances and say what ifs about disallowed late goals and penalties. What matters is results. Last I checked they're improving and we are 4 points of fourth. If he finished fourth, which is unlikely, it would be against the odds and a massive achievement. Until the end of the season lets wait until we hang the man.

We played better teams in the first 6 games though. It's all relative. People said we had a poor start, but we did play the best teams in the league at that time. Starts don't matter. More relative when seeing how a new man has done is the half way stage when you've played everyone. Better still, and I know this is hard for many, wait until the end.

Totally agree, but no one is hanging the man. We are debating the team and pointing out the concerns we have. Thats not to say he will not address them but this thread is far from hanging the man.
