Don't understand that, his form isn't poor on purpose, it's a collective responsibilty today imo, from players to manager, we got it wrong, and didn't/couldn't react once it went tit's up.

Our biggest problem as far as games going away from us, when we are the better team and on top, is not taking the goal scoring chances we get, not just Suarez either.

We can change that though, with the right signings.

Dom no offence mate but from that post it just sounds like you're not talking about football which I know is not the case.

Its not so much the single win or three points rather the boost in confidence and belief within the team that a single result can have.

Look at arsenals win vs spurs last season before they played us in the league. It set them right up for that top four finish. We need a turning point to turn this season around.

gerrard was pants today when we were on top and everyone else looked good value for a win. he didn't wait until everyone else started slipping.

divergent in that he was pants probably a good 20 minutes before everybody else. as much as i love him, he set a very poor example today.

Watched the goals again this morning.
1st one Reina is clearly at fault. Someone should have shut the ball down to to be beaten from 25 yards with a clear line of sight by that is inexcusable.
2nd one Agger doesn't go with his runner, Downing is far too wide positionally and someone should have filled the space (either Skrtel or Johnson)
3rd one what the **** is Skrtel doing? Yes Benteke was too strong for Allen but Skrtel allows him inside onto his stronger foot in the middle of the goal and gets nowhere near putting a challenge in.

                  Basic, ridiculously basic individual errors

At least he scores a goal more than once a leap year too.

The goals were in part individual errors, but there are other faults. Rodgers wants the team to press, but they still don't get it.

There is no patience in our team. We were high on confidence yesterday, but we need to treat every team we play the same. We can't just flood forward looking for a goal and forget about the back.

But it's the same everywhere in the pitch. The midfield will show patience to the extreme, and then the forward players will rush things or not look for that final ball.

Suarez had a fantastic chance to square to Jonjo for a tap in and instead shoots from a ridiculous angle. Pathetic.

Patience in the final third is needed more than any other area of the pitch, yet that is where we lack it.
                      Forwards.......

Cinderella is too strong for Allen ....yesterday was a game we should not have lost, but then again we have been far from convincing in our games, fail to impose ourselves, struggle to score goals ......if we make top 10 it will be an almighty achievment,as for attracting big name players forget it!

Trying to cover two men. He obviously expected Allen to challenge the goal scorer and he was covering the other runner. Maybe the wrong decision, but maybe not if Allen had actually done something.

                            Just after watching the highlights

1st goal why is Pepe getting beaten on his near post
2nd very well taken goal by Villa
3rd a comedy of errors , Cole off the pace loses the ball , Allen very weak on trying to tackle the Beneke.

Overall from what I have seen Downing is not a left back and Agger is having to cover thus weakening the centre.

I think the team for Fulham should be Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Sahin Lucas Shelvey Gerrard Suso Suarez .

Allen is getting worse by the game and Sterling needs a break

I agree with most of that.

I think the 1st goal was a very good finish though and was not easy to save.
