Gotta be Henderson in for Allen, as good a game as Allen had (and he did) Henderson has made that position his own recently.

Not sure about Skrtel, we look far more organised with Carragher in there.

Not sure how you can be considered world class and only be good with one foot.

Agreed, his extral athletisism will be useful against Spurs IMO.

I worry about the pace side of things with Carra when we're up against players like Bale and Lennon

If it weren't for a slip up, Carra didn't do much wrong against Hulk either.

Agreed but most top players are very one footed. Suarez is as near to a genuinely two footed player as there is out there...it's such an undervalued skill.

A win is vital. If we can make it three league wins on the bounce having beaten the best team we have left to play then it could really galvanise the squad.

We have no cup games left which means no European hangovers and in my mind that puts us in a great position to push on.

I have two ten pound bets with regards us finishing above Arsenal & Everton, so financially I'd appreciate at least a fifth place finish above those two
              Forwards.......

I think Spurs have a tough game against Inter on Thursday too. That can only help us.

Is SPurs' game away at Inter?

                    A valid concern.

                    Or Arsenal either.

Sadly, Mertesacker showed yesterday how slower defenders should NOT defend against Spurs.

                      -----------Sturridge

                      Coutinho--Gerrard--Suarez

                      -------Hendo---Lucas

                      Jose --Agger--Carra--Johnson.

                      -----------Pepe.

Gerrard and Henderson are the wrong way round - Gerrard is the deep playmaker, Henderson is the attacking centre mid.

I think that's what I'd play, Downing deserves to stay in the team on performance and merit BUT a fit Sturridge HAS to come back into the starting XI and you can't drop Coutinho after a performance like that against Wigan.

...and if Sturridge is not fit to play?

Suarez through the middle flanked by Coutinho and Downing, Hendo playing in front of Lucas and Gerrard.

Which player would be in the team in place of Sturridges slot?

Probably Downing with Suarez taking the strikers position.
