Damn, I was doing so well too.

In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and man.

It's nothing to do with that, you have to accept for 3 full seasons we've been poor to change that takes time and we have moved forwards the second half of the season in terms of points scored vs, our peers which is what we need to see, a strong finish can then be used as a springboard for the start of next season.

But what if we finish lower than we did last season? Will the same people who crucified Kenny and such like be praising Rodgers?

I know it seems like I'm raving in the dark but I'm trying to suggest your analogy about linear progress is only one way to think about it. Maybe we should also look at it in cyclical terms, seasonal terms (pun not intended), hmm?

Merely swapping Twain quotations. I like Pepe's style, his diagonal approach to the debate, less of the head-on argument and more of the darkly enigmatic epigram.

We finished 8th I seem to remember *checks on 52 points, we have 49 already with 6 games to go amd we're 5 points clear of 8th but that's really not relevant it's how we've progressed through the season and the results have improved, we still have a silly result in us I.e. Southampton but that will take time to iron out as its a mental thing I mean take the number of stupid individual errors early in the season away and we could have another 6 or so points, and we are seeing them being taken away from the performances.

Rodgers needs a good transfer window in the summer much like the one we had in January & there is no reason to think that wont happen
