breaks my heart. losing was bad enough...
i was fishing in southern ireland with two mates, both bad blue noses. we watched the game in a little country pub/shop thing, and the telly was in the blokes back room, that type of pub.
me and about three irish lads [the sum total in this back room] were shouting for the Reds, and the two bitters shouting for arsenal. what a ****ing pain in the bollocks the rest of the week was

I think in recent times it has to be the H&G saga. They've set us back years. Even if 09 wasn't our year with the right backing later years could've been. They destabilised the club and put Hodgson in charge. Thinking about where we've come from since Hodgson, Koncheski, Poulsen etc were here is actually not too bad.
