I doubt it made the slightest bit of difference either way. The draws after were annoying but I cant believe we struggled because the manager said a few words in a press conference. If we were that mentally weak we were never going to win it anyway.

Yup, that's pretty much it. We did well that season and played the best football that we had in a long time. We didn't reach top but we went down fighting. It was the next season that was the disappointment...
