The only downside to yesterday was Alan Shearer's match analysis! My non-league side also won and avoided relegation to Step 6.Nowt wrong with lurking!

He's really come into his own the second half of the season, really impressed with his work ethic and willingness to get up and down for 90 minutes.

Henderson,Downing & Enrique (form bit erratic in general) have really come on for us under Rogers. Though i don't see Henderson or Downing as regular starters for LFC if we want to challenge for things, they have improved second half of the season and could be decent squad players IMO.
Neither have come close to justifying their transfer fee yet, so remains to be seen will Rogers/FSG want rid with of big wages or not getting this whole "value for money"? Henderson is young he may get bit more time, but to be fair to Downing... he is our most improved player.
In saying that...... Downing and Henderson were pretty crap previously but sure it's all positive here.. GO TEAM!!

Awesome yesterday, and as much as I don't actually mind Newcastle, Pardew on the other hand is a prize prick. Seeing him suffer yesterday was brilliant. Eight year contract too, what was Mike Ashley thinking?!
Rodgers really has brought the best out of Downing, Henderson and Enrique, not to mention ripping Chelsea off again for Sturridge and stealing Coutinho for 8 million.
On the whole I thought the side looked much more balanced, and maybe, not having Suarez was a blessing in disguise. Maybe our players feel the need to play to him in more or less every attacking move, and this is having an adverse effect.
Still, can't wait to have him back though!
