What can I say?

Great game and a fantastic win and to think we could have won by a lot more.

Hard to believe we dont take our chances and we are the premier leagues 2nd highest scorers, just shows what we are capable of and what could potentially be achieved, I know the league position doesnt do us justice(like last season) but just hope our luck will change next season and we can get back up there with the contenders.

Liverpool lack consistency which I'm afraid is the key ingredient to do anything in the league.

Second highest goalscorers and second highest number of clean sheets, yet we sit in 7th. That tells its own story.

And we can't blame it on the poor start only. We were close to the top 4 heading into January. Had we improved enough we would have been playing CL football. Would be interesting to see a table for the first 19 games and the following games there after.

Difficult to say what we can achieve next year, but without a very good summer in the transfer market I don't see us coming anywhere near the top 4. Too many players in our squad simply don't have the mentality to produce a minimum 6/7 out of 10 every week and step up when our other key players like Suarez and Gerrard are not performing.

I'm just hoping we can somehow magic out a top class centre half which would go a long way towards putting us on the right track.

just done a count up and we had 11 clean sheets where we also won, but had 4 0-0 clean sheets.
