I don't thing Rodgers helped with his subs today, Henderson didn't deserve to come off IMO

Skrtel coming on was a bit strange too, I get he helps with defending but Enrique was wasteful so pushing him on didn't help and Johnson hasn't offered anything going forward since the turn of the year virtually.

Last thing that bugged me was when Baines had freekicks out wide we had every single player back. Now if we're so bothered about them in the air fine but Coutinho isn't exactly going to do much and Sturridge was in a 1 man wall I mean come on you NEVER need a wall in that position. When Reina collected the ball he had nobody to hit and break quickly.

Not great but not bad either.

The subs in hindsight were wrong bu you see the reasoning behind it.

That was really boring, neither team really wanting to lose and neither team wanting to win.

It pisses me off that we weakly gave up Premiership supremacy to the blue****e without really putting up a fight, here you guys heres 6th for you on a plate

            Oh yeah Gerrard and Coutinho
            We come not to play.

Fair result in a really average game. Gerrard was outstanding he covered for Lucas the whole game. Coutinho has some eye for a pass.... Some world class balls he plays in every game.

Thought Lucas, Johnson and sturridge were woeful. Lucas ain't the same player this season, sturridge is a bit inconsistent but still has quality and Johnson well.... He has had a nightmare in 2013.

Henderson and downing were average too. Borini is shocking. Everton goal should have stood but thought they were terrible too. Long merchants that rely on set pieces.

              Another meh performance and result.

Last week we were saying Lucas is back to his best, and he was off-colour this week. It happens. We weren't really fighting for anything so whatever. Just glad we didn't lose, really, because losing to Everton is the worst all-around scenario.

I thought Lucas was good in first half tbf won a lot of tackles but we didn't have enough in the final third. Sturridge was really frustrating and tbh I forgot Borini was on at times, don't see it in the lad.

Think we can all see Lucas is nowhere back to his best. He has had a poor season. Hopefully and good break and strong pre season will sort him put. Coming back from injuries like he has can be very difficult.

Both teams cancelled each other out IMO. As ever, we just seemed to be missing that creative spark or clinical finisher to make the difference.

And whilst neither substitution really worked, at least it showed that Rodgers was trying to change things tactically to try and make the difference.

Went out on a limb with my opinion on borini. I know he hasn't been here long and has been injured. But imo he is so technically inept and just runs around like a headless chicken. Personally I'm hoping he gets sold in the summer.

Poor game...sloppy in possession and not enough players turned up.

Gerrard was outstanding, coutinho again showed his class, thought Henderson played well and Enrique tried is guts out.

Thought Lucas, downing, Johnson and in particular Sturridge were dreadful....Sturridge virtually stopped at about 60 mins.

Draw fair result but it was a dreadful game to watch.

Oh well, we won't finish 6th now so season over, move on and sign 3 or 4 class players
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

He doesn't suit the more direct approach. I think if we were playing a more passing game while compressing the final third he'd be a better player as he gets in good positions but today he had to chase and he's clearly no better than Carroll.

That St. Ettienne lad I mentioned a while back would be perfect for us.

I didn't think Downing had a bad game, he put in some good crosses and kept possession well.
