That St. Ettienne lad I mentioned a while back would be perfect for us.
I know it's early days with borini but for me he has zero quality and I'm shocked at how bad he is technically. We do need better options upfront alright

That's the problem for me, he's lacking so much when it comes to technique, he's not exactly fast or strong so I don't see what he can offer us. His movement is very good to be fair to him but we haven't exactly seen or made any use of it yet.

Downing and Henderson imo were just average. Both have improved recently but imo wasn't their best games by far today.

We did just enough to nick one i thought. Our fullbacks aren't good enough though. Coutinho is special, shame Sturridge was so greedy

Majority of our players were in summer break mode which was disappointing as it was a derby and it was a chance for us to get close to Everton in the league.

He makes some good runs no doubts... But so does my mother's cocker spaniel.

Personally I'm praying a serie a team come in for him in the summer. Perfectly happy to be proven wrong but I don't see it with him.

Henderson made 2 or 3 very clever/game changing touches in the final third but they didn't quite pay off (IMO)

He did 2 nice touches alright which didn't come to much but was out of the game for most of it... Downing toi. Found wanting few times defensively too. By no means the worst though 6 out of 10 performance for me.

That ball around the corner for Sturridge was fantastic, he played pretty well for me today Henderson 7/10.

As most have said it was the subs that changed the game for us.
I knew we'd slump as soon as Henderson went off, as he was really good today - some good tackles, quick passes and clever lay offs.
Borini is too lightweight for me.
Sturridge just needs to be a bit more decisive, particularly when he's not in the box, always seems to slow down the play in those situations.

Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

I don't know if Suarez would have made the difference for us today.

Imo that type of contentious game is where suarez thrives. Missed him horribly imo.

Sturridge is either a delight or annoying as ****. Really needs to improve his decision making.

Agree Henderson was hard done by in being hooked. We almost always look better when he's on the pitch.

What a ****e game and performance though.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yeah but Moyes still hasn't beaten us at home
