I would give him another 4 months to step up and if he doesn't then replace him in January. I don't think I have seen anything special from him yet

I know he would be pricey every week. But he is clearly a great goalkeeper.

Played a part in the best club side of all time. Hes also only 32, and we have seen many keepers go into their late 30s.

I guess Mignolet is Brendans first choice so he needs to stick by him. But he worries me from time to time. Will have 3 good games and then a bad one like last night.

Mind you, if others took their chances maybe we would have scored a few more and taken the pressure off at the back.

We should just go all out for Cech IMO, our back 4 are crying out for a dominant keeper. No time for sentiment and Mignolet is still very young and has a long term future here. Working day in day out with Cech will also help him improve.

Mignolet is the best keeper in the league. Wouldn't swop him. That doesn't make him perfect, its just all keepers have their flaws. Ours has less than most. I don't like his squashed face though, Van Gaal lovechild possibly.

He's not in the top 5 goalkeepers.

Petr Cech would be an excellent signing, and would be a significant upgrade on Mignolet, but I don't think we'd convince Chelsea to sell him to us so its a bit of a non-starter IMO.

However, there aren't that many keepers out there that I'd swap our #1 for.
