Really? Admittedly I'm watching it on my iPad so very small screen but I've not seen that much excepts selling Johnson out with a hospital pass which led to the yellow card & not much else. But hopefully he proves me wrong.Originally posted by Muddled View PostThe first 30 minutes we controlled; we were patient and methodical in our approach. We proved to be quite well organised - more so when we have time to sort out our shape - but if a team puts us on the back-foot we're all at sea. It's almost like we revert to school yard footy chasing after the football.
Clattenburg set the tone with the unnecessary booking of Aspas, which in turn meant he had to book Delph. Johnson was the only one deserving of a yellow card.
Villa have clearly identified Coutinho as the threat and are quick to put him under pressure, yet he still finds pockets of space. Lucas looks back to his best and Sturridge continues to prove me wrong.
One nil at half time is well deserved, but I would very much like the security of another goal as I never feel confident that we can keep a clean-sheet.
As for this Sky letsgatherroundthesofachat ... well, it's just plain awful.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Thought he's generally been quite tidy. That was a bad mistake and I think "back to his best" is still premature but he's really kept things ticking over in the midfield.Originally posted by SB View PostReally? Fair enough. He's had a lot of passes but normally to a man who's marked who gives it back to him & it starts all over again. Good for the stat lovers out there.Originally posted by broman View PostThought he's generally been quite tidy. Can't get my head around why anyone would even go to one of them!
