What a tense second half. Goodness. Really nervy stuff. Glad of the win, however, and thought Mignolet, Sturridge, and Kolo were just as good as they were last week. Think that Coutinho was just having an off day. Lucas as well. Notts County midweek will be interesting...

Imagine that, 6 points AHEAD of the mancs.........I bet nobody can remember the last time that happened!!Originally posted by rcasemore View Postwow
it took until the end of Sept to get 6 points last season!
Good momentum for the Mancs next Sunday as well, hopefully we'll see them get given a going over tomorrow evening as well._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?

I do think we miss Suarez a bit, and Lucas had one of those "always losing the ball but winning it back straight away" games which he is sometimes prone to. But hey, happy days.
First half we was ace, really showed what we are about, passed and moved and the Sturridge goal was great. Aspas and Coutinho both faded in and out of the game, and in the second half we struggled to get the ball up to Sturridge.
Feeling good about playing the Mancs though, hopefully Van Persie picks up a knock against Chelsea on monday.
And hopefully we have a new left winger to blood against them
The times they are a changin'.

I can't remember the last game I seen us be so dominant in the first half and then just basically defend for 45 minutes, such different halfs. Definitely need to do more when we're on top though, I think the players, like me thought 1-0 at half time and could have been more but we'll come out the 2nd half and have at least a few chances to bury the game.Vive la France

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
