Pessimistic is a huge understatement. After a tricky game in which we played some superb football and won against a team that beat Arsenal comfortably and deserved a draw at Chelsea, you'd think we were penned in our area for 90 minutes reading some of the absolute bollocks on here.

A bit harsh, but reading some of the comments today I did wonder myself if my drunkenness got the better of me and Villa scored 2 late goals that I missed.

we definitely tired in the 2nd half,villa were more dominant,also couthino had an off day as did aspas,we needed an outlet like sterling to run with the ball and drag the villa defence out creating gaps in their defence

Villa upped their game and when we did get the ball we collectively seemed to give it away all to easily. Hence the onslaught

I heard the commentator mention the humidity & he thought that may have played a part due to our frenetic start.

Nah - Villa just got their **** together in the second half and started actually pressing us. The first 45 minutes they just didn't show up. We should have pushed them more in the first half but I think Brendan was being very (perhaps over) cautious due to how dangerous they've been on the counter in their previous games.
